Okay I wanted to make quick follow up to my baseline labs that I provided in my last update.
After ONE WEEK of following the diet changes that you can read about in my first post (low carb/high fat to high carb/low fat), this is what happened.
As you can see, my LDL-Particles almost cut in half (previous number was 1574 nmol/L) without changing my cholesterol amount all that much (LDL-C went from 112 to 99 mg/dL). Here is the table below to see that my numbers are much more concordant (you can even see my apo B above and non-HDL fitting in as well).
This drop is substantial and it is hard to know EXACTLY what it was from. Either way I am pleased as this drop brings me to a very low risk category without the use of pharmaceuticals (e.g. statin drugs). Don’t worry, in future posts I will go over exactly how these drugs work. I will also go over the possible confounding variables in my n=1 experiment.
